R.M.S. Aquitania

This is the 1:570 scale R.M.S. Aquitania by Pete Hodges

This is the 1/570 AQUITANIA, converted from the 1/570 Revell ‘TITANIC’ kit. The bridge-front, foredeck, and the aft superstructure are all built using TITANIC deck sections, plus some evergreen styrene sections. The lifeboats and gooseneck davits are all made from evergreen plastic.

Closer detail of the bridge front, again using existing TITANIC parts plus some Evergreen stock. The foredeck uses both the TITANIC well deck and the foredeck pieces fitted end-to-end.

Shown here is the stern detail showing the aft deckhouse structure, made mostly using existing TITANIC parts, and the routered-out aft 3rd-Class Promenade.

Broadside view of the model, clearly showing the routered-out B-Deck Promenade and foreward A-Deck Promenade, with the original Revell TITANIC windows amidships representing the AQUITANIA's A-Deck Winter Garden and the B-Deck glassed-in area. The side-mount Cunard-issue gooseneck davits show up as well. The mainmast is a wooden replacement of the original plastic one.
